NAIA Trust of Florida applies the Mission of NAIA Trust in Florida:

The Mission of NAIA Trust is to promote the welfare of animals, strengthen the human-animal bond and safeguard the rights of responsible animal owners, enthusiasts and professionals through education, legislation and the courts.

To meet the challenge of various animal control problems, many Florida counties have undergone major animal ordinance revisions in recent years. Similarly, a flood of animal-related legislation has been offered at the state level. Unfortunately, although these legislative attempts are often well-intentioned, Florida has passed numerous irrational and radical animal laws.

NAIA Trust of Florida was created to counter this problem. NTF offers workable solutions and fact-based answers to deal with animal related issues and problems. Our members are hands-on experts who have worked in animal sheltering, dog training, rescue, kennel and cat clubs, wildlife rehabilitation and many other facets of the animal world.

To carry out our mission, the NAIA Trust of Florida has created several working committees to deal with media, public education, legislation and fundraising. NAIA Trust of Florida has also retained the services of the respected Florida Law Firm, Greenspoon, Marder, P.A. to challenge poorly drafted and in some cases unconstitutional ordinances and animal laws. The firm will focus on unsuccessful laws, ones that fail to achieve their stated goal, lead to new problems and undermine civil liberties in the process. We are also prepared to utilize lobbyists when necessary.

NAIA Trust and NAIA Trust of Florida can’t succeed without your support. Our volunteers work hard everyday, but without your donations to fund our legal, legislative and media campaigns, none of us can hope to win.
